The boat
We are right at the beginning of the harbour of Playa Blanca, where the big ferries depart to Fuerteventura. Clicking here, you can see our exact location. If you’re coming by car from Puerto del Carmen, it will take approximately 30 minutes to get here. If you come from Costa Teguise or Arrecife, it will take up to 45 minutes.
The total capacity of the boat is 15 people counting crew, so that leaves us with a maximum of 12 adult passengers.
Yes, it is very safe. The Margarita Segundo has a large area on the stern, handrails all around it, a swimming ladder and lifejackets for all ages.
Yes there is, even though boarding cannot be done sitting in the wheelchair. Once aboard, the boat has plenty of space on the stern and many places where you can sit and relax comfortably.
No. At least the skipper and a crew member must always be on board.
For our Day Charter trip and Sunset Cruise it is possible to depart from other ports however, we would have to provide you with a specific quotation for it. Please email us with the date and chosen harbour, and we’ll get back to you with a price.
Yes, it is possible, but for a maximum of 2 people and a price will be quoted for each case depending on the season. Should you need capacity for more than 2 people, let us know and we can accommodate you on one of our other boats.
Your booking
Yes, it is necessary to book in advance. We have very limited spaces and if you don’t want to risk losing out on one, we recommend that you book over at our website where you’ll be able to pay securely via Paypal or Credit Card.
Only on the private charters we give the possibility to pay a deposit in advance and the rest on the boat. Should you be interested in this possibility, please email us with the information about your booking (date, number of hours, number of people, etc.). If you find it more convenient to pay all in advance, then just book over the web normally.

If the trip is cancelled for bad weather condition or any other reason due to Chill Out Cruises, we will try to relocate you to another day. Should the new date not suit you, we will give you a full refund through the same channel that you paid.
Both our limited capacity and high-quality policy prevent us from being able to offer any discount whatsoever on any of our products. Nevertheless, if you’re willing to do more than one trip on the same week, we are sure that we can offer you some kind of treat to help convince you. Drop us a line and tell us your plans.
Have you selected the departure time? Depending on the selected product, there might be only one departure time, but even then, it has to be selected in order to follow to the next step and make the booking.
In our scheduled 2h and 4h trips, you will go out with other tourists. On the other hand, should you choose the Day Charter or Sunset Cruise options, the boat will be only for you and your party.
Drop us a line, surely we can sort it out.
If you have booked directly over our web, you don’t need to bring them. If you’ve reserved through any other channel, you will have to bring a physical copy of your ticket.
Up until 2 years old, babies go free on the Chill Out Cruise. My grandfather used to say, “if he can walk on a boat, then he’s already a child”
Our trips
Yes we do. Lanzarote has usually great weather even in wintertime, so we can go out regularly all year long.
I usually say that in Lanzarote, it doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter; if the sun is shining, it will be hot. Nevertheless, depending on how the climate is on the day of your trip, it might be necessary to take a jumper or jacket with you, especially if you choose our Sunset Cruise trip. In any case, we have blankets on board to make sure you can see the sunset while you lay down comfortably and warm from the bow of the boat.
The activities listed on the web are all included in the price. Other activities like PADI Diving, water skiing, or dinghy to go to the beach, will have an extra cost and it’s necessary you request a quote by mail.
We only offer a pickup service on the Day Charter and Sunset Cruise options, and you can book it directly from the web. We are around a 25-minute drive from Puerto del Carmen, 25 minutes from Arrecife and 40 minutes from Costa Teguise.
It will greatly depend on the conditions of the sea and the month of the year, but in Lanzarote there are stable colonies of dolphins all year round and during the summer months, we see whales every now and then. If you’re planning to book a private Day Charter, please remember to book an extra hour to go look for them.
Depth is between 4 and 9 metres depending on the exact location where we’re anchored and the tide at that certain moment. Other anchoring places are possible when you book a private Day Charter or Sunset Cruise.
If you don’t have a nautical almanac with you, here you can see the precise time the sun sets, as well as information about the tide changes.
All crew speaks Spanish and English, and if Bruno is on board, you’ll also be able to speak with him in French and Galician.
Yes, it is possible. Just tell us when and where, and we will prepare a quotation.
We’d love to hear it! Drop us a line and let us know!
The food
That’s no problem whatsoever, but we recommend you try our delicious BBQ as well as our sangría and mojitos. We’re convinced they’ll be the best you have during your holidays.
It’s not a problem to offer a vegetarian menu on both our scheduled departures (in which we offer some delicious vegetarian skewers) as well as on the private charters (in which we can totally personalise the menu). However, in both cases, please let us know in advance, preferably at the moment of your booking.
Our BBQ menu is gluten-free providing you don’t touch the mojo of the potatoes (papas arrugadas) and the homemade salad sauce we provide.

It’s not very nice to mix meat and fish on the same grill (unless you’re 4 or less as we can split the grill), although we could first prepare some meat and then some fish. Just let us know.
We can definitely personalise a menu of your choice. Just email us your suggestions and we will be delighted to quote it. As for the drinks, our bar is well suited to prepare cocktails and long drinks, as well as beer, a few wines, and Spanish cava (champagne). Should you want any other drink, just let us know.
